For lower quality, quicker 3D prints, a layer height of 0.28mm is a great layer height that balances out well. For high quality prints where you want the most detail, I’d recommend a layer height of 0.12mm.
PERFECT LAYERS TOO MINI MANUAL
My friend bought exactly the same printer, followed the same assembly manual and isn't experiencing any sort of issues. The best layer height for an Ender 3 is between 0.12mm and 0.28mm depending on what quality you desire. If I would to level the bed so that the first layer would stick, then the nozzle is too low after auto-home and hits the hot bed.Īny ideas what might be the problem? I use Cura 4.8.0 with the default Ender 3 Pro machine settings: gcode files provided with the printer on the memory card.

I presume it's not the slicers fault because the prints I have sliced personally behave in the same manner as the example. But this issue with the Ender baffled me totally. I'm not new to 3D printing, did plenty of mods, fixed many issues with the printer (as any Anet user must have had) and allways levelled the bed manually. This is my second printer after Anet A6, which I've had for a couple of years. I paid attention to all the details and IMHO the printer is set up correctly. Got it within 2 days and started the assembly following this video: I've ordered a brand new Creality Ender 3 V2 form AliExpress. Hi, did you manage to find a fix? I'm having the same problem as you described.
